Well, I didn't get much stitching done this weekend. I had a brief trip to the ER this week and had to stay off my feet some this weekend.
Our donor center is doing a promotion for the next two weeks called "What's in your egg?". Every donor can chose an egg and see what is in it. Chi-Fil-A generously donated coupons for free food (sandwiches, breakfast stuff, nuggets, kid's meals). And we have some movie passes and Baylor Baseball tickets.
My job was to stuff the eggs for the promotion. Here is what a basket of eggs look like:
Here is what 240 eggs look like:
Some of the eggs have "popped" open to reveal the coupons. The clerical assistant at the donor center will have to tape them closed.
I don't ever want to see another plastic Easter egg again. Until next year.

I remember doing that when the kids were younger! I have a TON of those plastic eggs.
Now why were you at the ER??? What happened?? Are you okay now??
Oh, was it the egg stuffing that sent you to the ER. If I had to stuff that many they would have to put me in a padded room. LOL
I hope you are feeling better now Donna! And I'm with Kathy... all that egg stuffing would have definitely sent me over the edge, Hun! :) It's such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do and surely you must be an Angel! :)
Your blog is lovely, as is your stitching and your grandchildren are adorable... :)
Blessings and love always in stitches...
The eggs look so pretty. Hope you are feeling better soon Dona.
Wow! That is a lot of egg stuffing. I agree no more plastic eggs until next year. You did a great job. Hope your feeling better.
I hope you are feeling better now Donna - the eggs do look pretty.
Love Michelle x
Hopefully you're feeling better. And boy, that's a lot of eggs to fill.
Hope you're feeling better now! Are you ok? Yeh - stuffing plastic eggs gets pretty old, doesn't it? But such a worthy cause!
A trip to the ER does not sound good! Are you ok? I pray that you are feeling better now!! I think the egg stuffing is great but I can understand why you dont want to see anymore plastic eggs too! LOL
Hope you are feeling better Donna - a trip to the ER is never a good thing - well unless you are having a baby!! LOL...
That is an awful lot of eggs - they are really pretty though. I assume you are using these for a fundraiser??? Either way - I hope that they are a huge success!!!
Hope you're OK now. Great fundraising idea..... though I reckon you're lucky not to have seen those darned things in your sleep! :0)
